A: We serve independent adults with a stable source of income who are seeking affordable shared housing. Applicants must be able to care for themselves and agree to follow all residency guidelines and house rules.
2. Living Arrangements
Q: How many residents live in each home?
A: Each home varies in size and layout. Depending on availability, residents may have a private bedroom or share a room with one other resident.
Q: How long can a resident stay?
A: There is no maximum length of stay. Residents may remain as long as they comply with the residency agreement and house rules.

Our standard move-in fee is $300.
Limited-Time Special: Move in for only $150 through September 30, 2026.

A: Yes. All utilities and Wi-Fi are included in the monthly rent.
4. Application & Move-In Process

A: Applicants must complete an application and provide:

The application typically takes 10–15 minutes to complete, and most applications are processed within three business days, depending on availability.
Q: Are background checks required?
A: Yes. Background checks are conducted as part of the application process. Credit checks are not required.

A: Rooms are offered based on availability and completed applications. Contact us to check current openings and begin the application process.
5. House Rules
Q: Is there a curfew?
A: No. Residents are free to come and go as needed. We ask that everyone be respectful of fellow residents and the property at all times.
Q: What are the quiet hours?
A: Quiet hours are observed daily from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During these hours, residents are expected to keep noise to a minimum and enter or leave the home quietly to avoid disturbing others.
Q: Are visitors allowed?
A: No. To help maintain a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for all residents, visitors are not permitted inside the home.
6. Services & Support
Q: Are meals provided?
A: No. Residents prepare their own meals using the shared kitchen. We can also provide information about local food resources and community meal programs.
Q: Is transportation available?
A: Transportation assistance may be available on a limited, case-by-case basis.
Q: Do you offer counseling services?
A: While we do not provide counseling services on-site, we can connect residents with trusted community agencies that offer counseling and other supportive services.

A: We accept multiple forms of payment, which are explained during the move-in process and outlined in the Resident Handbook.
Q: Do you accept housing vouchers?
A: Housing vouchers are not accepted at this time. If this changes in the future, we will update our website.

Q: What safety measures are in place?
A: Resident safety is a priority. Our homes include security cameras in common areas, routine property inspections, and regular staff oversight. Cameras are never placed inside bedrooms or bathrooms.
9. Daily Living
Q: Can residents personalize their living space?
A: Yes. Residents may personalize their living space with prior approval, provided no permanent damage is made to the property.
Q: Are there common areas?
A: Yes. Residents have access to shared spaces, including the living room, kitchen, laundry area, and other designated common areas.

Q: Are residents allowed to leave and return freely?
A: Yes. Residents are free to come and go as needed. We simply ask that everyone respect the home's quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM by entering and leaving quietly and being considerate of fellow residents.

A: We are committed to helping residents achieve long-term stability. When appropriate, we can connect residents with employment resources, community services, benefit programs, and affordable housing opportunities.

Q: Is Emilia's Loving Hands an assisted living facility?
A: No. Emilia's Loving Hands is a shared housing program for independent adults. We do not provide medical care, nursing services, or personal care assistance.
