A: We serve adults with stable income who are seeking affordable shared housing in a structured, respectful environment.

 

2. Living Arrangements

 

Q: How many residents can live at Emilia’s Loving Hands?
A: Each home varies in layout and accommodations. Most residents have private rooms or share with one other person, depending on availability.

 

Q: How long can a resident stay at Emilia’s Loving Hands?
A: Residents may stay as long as they follow residency guidelines. We offer long‑term options for individuals who prefer stability and do not want to move frequently.

 

Q: What amenities are included in the rent?
A: Rent includes utilities, Wi‑Fi, access to a washer and dryer, and use of common areas.

 

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No, pets are not permitted.

A: Rental rates vary by home and room type. There is also a $300 non‑refundable move‑in fee, which is a one‑time payment. No additional fees apply.

A: Yes, all utilities and Wi‑Fi are included in the monthly rent.

 

4. Application and Move‑In Process

A: Applicants must complete a rental application and provide proof of income. The application typically takes 10–15 minutes to complete, and the approval process may take up to 3 business days unless there is a waiting list.

 

Q: Are background checks required?
A: Yes, background checks are conducted. Credit checks are not required. Individuals are welcome to apply as long as they agree to follow all residency guidelines.

 

5. Rules and Regulations

 

Q: Is there a curfew?
A: Yes, curfew is at 11:00 PM. Residents who work past this time must submit their work schedule for approval from the resident coordinator.

 

Q: Are visitors allowed?
A: No, visitors are not permitted in order to maintain safety and respect for all residents.

 

Q: What are the quiet hours?
A: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

A: Meals are not provided; however, assistance with accessing meals through local community partners may be available.

A: Residents may come and go freely before 11:00 PM. Exterior doors are secured at 11:00 PM, and entry after this time requires prior approval.

A: We assist residents with applying for benefits, job searches, résumé building, interview preparation, and locating affordable permanent housing options.
